I have a close family member we suspect has BPD (was previously diagnosed >20 years ago with Paranoid Personality Disorder, but several of us believe BPD is a better fit). The struggle we have faced is that the family member refuses to acknowledge consistently any illness, periodically terminating all medication and therapy while insisting that we are all the ones with a problem. I have been reading your blog for a while and understand that personal insight has also been a struggle for your children. Anything you would be able to share about how to deflect the blame and encourage insight would be greatly appreciated!Heatherhttp://www.google.comnoreply@blogger.com
