This blog is my place to vent and share resources with other parents of children of trauma. I try to be open and honest about my feelings in order to help others know they are not alone. Therapeutic parenting of adopted teenagers with RAD and other severe mental illnesses and issues (plus "neurotypical" teens) , is not easy, and there are time when I say what I feel... at the moment. We're all human!

I'm DONE!!!!

Last night at midnight I finally finished reading all of the monthly archives on http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/. I absolutely love this extremely prolific blogger. Thanks Lisa for telling me about her - I promise not to tell Hubby it was you that got me addicted!

Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with all my "spare" time and the extra sleep! *grin*

Ouch that hurts! You beat me!
I am still working on it.
PLEASE don't tell DH. Don't want him sending a posse after me! ;-)

I can't believe you've gone back and read all the past blogs! I've read her romance bio story, and I peruse the recipies regularly, but I don't plan to go back over two years of blogs. Was it worth it?

I thought it was worth it. She's really very entertaining, and I actually got a little interested in photography because of her. Mostly I just love to read - especially funny stuff, and 2 years of posts gave me a lot of laughs! She's really a very good writer.

I've scanned her recipes, but with my high cholesterol and sedentary lifestyle - there's not much on there for me. Although I did find that I could substitute fat free yogurt and butter flavored Pam for a lot of the butter stuff and it still came out OK. The kids liked the yogurt coated chicken.
