This blog is my place to vent and share resources with other parents of children of trauma. I try to be open and honest about my feelings in order to help others know they are not alone. Therapeutic parenting of adopted teenagers with RAD and other severe mental illnesses and issues (plus "neurotypical" teens) , is not easy, and there are time when I say what I feel... at the moment. We're all human!

Happy 16th Anniversary Hubby!

Hard to believe we met 18 years ago. Wow! We look so young! These are 2 of the pictures in our portfolio at the dating service we met through. Hubby is such a hottie! This dress was one I made. It's all hand beaded and has no back.
Picture from one of our first dates. Don't we look happy?!
This is my Jessica Rabbit dress. "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way."

Hubby officially asked me to marry him on a dinner barge in San Antonio with our family and friends.

Our official engagement photo. We got this from the dating service we met through in exchange for giving them a quote for marketing purposes. Like the poodle perm? I tried to perm it myself.

Our wedding day! March 12, 1994.

Evil parents! *grin* Bob is 2 months old here.

Company Christmas party in 2000

Company Christmas party 2001. We haven't taken pictures of just the two of us since the kids were born!
2006. I'd just lost a ton of weight and was so excited to take this picture. Hubby's tan hand on my pale doughy waist. Not the look I was going for. *sigh*

Christmas 2006

Christmas 2007. The last year we bothered to take a picture of just the two of us. Now all the pictures of us are with the kids or individually.

I LOVE YOU HUBBY!
(No, Hubby doesn't read this blog, but I'll make him look at it).
